This is an amazing Circa 1900 Chinese brooch. It is beautifully designed with a dore gold wash over silver. It is Circa 1900 and was created by John Wanamaker jewelers and silversmiths of Philadelphia, New York, Paris and London. This fantastic brooch has a one-of-a-kind design with enamel floral accents and a Lotus blossom at the top which is the symbol of good fortune. It is marked silver on the back, please refer to photos. This brooch is stunningly beautiful and measures 2 3/4" at the widest point of the design by 1 1/2" and is in excellent original condition retaining the original box. This is one of the finest pieces of antique jewelry in a chinoiserie design that we have been privileged to offer to you. This is truly a remarkable example of an elegant bygone era.
