This is a magnificent vintage custom lady's brooch in the form of a galloping horse with outstretched leg and flowing tail. The brooch acid tests 14K yellow gold and weighs 46.2 grams. Prong set are 17 round brilliant diamonds, VS clarity and H color with an estimated total weight of 1.93 carats. This beautiful piece was custom made for a Beverly Hills client by a master jeweler. The detail and sense of motion is outstanding as well as the placement of the individual diamonds. This is a substantial size measuring 2 1/2 inches in length from the extended leg to the end of the tail by 2 3/4 inches from the top of the tail to the bottom hoof of the longest leg. Another unique quality of the design is the addition of a gold safety chain and gold filled push pin for safety. This exquisite brooch is one-of-a-kind creating a very bold and dramatic appearance. It is in mint original condition.
