This is an absolutely amazing museum quality portrait pendant from the Art Nouveau Era. It is Circa 1890 and tests 14K yellow gold. There is the most beautiful enameled portrait of an elegant young woman on a deep red guilloche field. The portrait is very detailed of a lovely lady with flowing hair and surrounded by delicate blue flowers. It is artist signed with initials that appear to be H.I. The gold frame appears to have a crown at the top with a floral garland on each side. The pendant has a gold back and measures 1 3/4" at the widest point of the design of the frame by 2" long to the top of the bale. This quality example of the Art Nouveau Era is accompanied with a 24" modern 14K yellow gold chain. The artistic quality of this piece exemplifies the fine craftsmanship from this period and is a very rare and fine example of an elegant bygone era in excellent original condition.
