These are a great pair of signed Pairpoint antique vases. They are Circa 1900 with a cobalt and reverse bubble glass base. The top section forming the vase is silver plate. They are quite a large size measuring 12 1/4 inches tall with a 6 3/4 inch top opening. The glass bases are mint and the silver plate vases show slight normal wear to the exterior however the interior silver plate of each vase is worn off because they have been lovingly used over the last 100 plus years. It is quite rare to find vases from this period in pairs and such fine condition considering their age. Each vase is signed Pairpoint. The contrast between the cobalt base and clear reverse bubble creates a dramatic appearance with the silver sections. This beautiful pair of vases would be exquisite on a mantle or dining room table. Actually they would add an elegant touch from a bygone era anywhere in your home.
