This lovely vase is a beautiful example of the Art Nouveau Era. It is a documented Loetz piece called Formosa which Loetz only produced in 1905. It has a beautiful iridescence with a raised ribbed ice blue design over an emerald field. It absolutely comes alive in the light. It measures 4 ¾ inches tall with a fluted top and a ribbed body. As is always indicative of Loetz, it has an excellent polished pontil on the base and is in perfect original condition. This exceptional vase would make a fine addition for the connoisseur collector of art glass from the Art Nouveau Era.
