This vase is an exceptional and fine example of Loetz. It is a beautiful vase with an intricate sterling silver overlay with a very Art Nouveau influence. It is Circa 1900 and displays a green gold iridescence on the body of the vase with a rainbow iridescence around the top of the rim. It is 4 inches tall and 2 5/8 inches at the widest part of the vase. It has a polished pontil and a small burst air bubble in the bottom of the base near the pontil that is in the making, please refer to photos. It is signed with a capital L and sterling along the silver rim around the base. It is in excellent original condition. This is one of the finest examples of Loetz silver overlay vases and a great find from the Art Nouveau Era.
