This is an exceptional example of Loetz silver overlay art glass. It is Circa 1890 and one of the finest silver overlay vases from the Art Nouveau era. The vase is shaded from deep pink at the base and slowly rises into a golden peach color on one side and a beautiful iridescent pink on the other side. The silver overlay is one of the most detailed designs that I have seen from this era. It encompasses the entire vase from top to bottom with an intricate floral, leaf and vine design. It measures 5 1/4 inches tall with a 2 1/2 inch opening and is in mint original condition. Quite honestly I had to fight myself to sell this one. It is really beautiful.
