This is a magnificent example of Jugendstil and Art Nouveau art glass. It is a fine Circa 1890 vase by Loetz in a beautiful metal armature. The vase is a deep emerald iridescent green with lavender tones. It is set in a lovely metal armature embellished with a very characteristic floral Art Nouveau design. The vase measures 10 inches to the top of the handles and 9 1/4 inches to the top of the vase. The frame is either brass or bronze. The vase is 6 inches at the widest part of the handles and 4 inches at the widest part of the body of the vase. The vase is an excellent example in fine original condition of the Art Nouveau Period and the fine craftsmanship achieved in an elegant bygone era.
