This is an early example of a quality piece created by English silversmiths. It is a beautiful Sterling silver sugar shaker with a rococo design in the form of a center flower surrounded by ornate scrolls. This lovely shaker is Circa 1890 and fully hallmarked on the shaker as well as the rim on the cover, please refer to photos. There is a cartouche for a monogram however it was never engraved. It stands 7 1/2" tall to the top of the finial and 2 3/4" at the widest part of the shaker. This is in excellent condition for the age of the piece showing very minor wear. It weighs 190.9 grams.
