This lovely vase is another fine example of the Art Nouveau Era. It is Circa 1900 and attributed to Carl Knoll. It is signed Carlsbad Austria on the base, please refer to photos. The vase has a very naturalistic flowing design characteristic of the period. The floral design cascades down the vase with exquisite hand painted pansies in various shades of lavender and cream against a pale pastel green field. The floral design is also continued on the back side of the vase. It measures 11 1/2" tall and 4" at the widest part of the base design. It is in excellent original condition with one very small spot on the upper side where the glaze did not take and is in the making. This is a beautiful porcelain vase and a fine example of an elegant bygone era.
