This is a very beautiful music box in excellent working condition. It was produced Circa 1893 by Charles Paillard & Co., St.Croix, Switzerland. It is burl wood with a brass inlay trim and brass shield in the center for a monogram however it was never engraved. It has been professionally serviced and plays six different tunes, however we do not know the individual tune names. The box opens by pressing in the brass button and when you close the cover you also press the button in. There is a key at the base which you wind to play the tunes. It has excellent tone and quality. The music box restorer added a song sheet so if you discover the names of the songs you can put them on the sheet. The box measures 5 7/8 inches wide by 3 5/8 inches deep and 2 1/2 inches tall. This exceptional find is in original condition and plays sharp and clear. This music box is also a work of art and has a very classic quality in appearance.
