This is a very beautiful signed Meissen porcelain of a lovely young maiden milking a cow. She is barefoot and her scarf and dress are finely detailed. The colors are soft and muted which lends a rich texture to this piece. Even the milk pail is detailed. The signature markings indicate it was made between 1815 and 1830, please refer to photos and it appears to be in excellent condition with only a very minor gold touch up to the very bottom border measuring 3/4" and mentioned only for accuracy. This porcelain stands 8 1/4 inches to the top of the cow's horns and 8 inches at the widest part of the figurine by 5 inches deep. This is an enchanting porcelain and a fine example of early Meissen.
