This is a beautiful example of the Victorian Era. It is a magnificent handled ure and is signed Royal Rudelstadt. It is Circa 1880 and has a raised ornate rococo design that is accented by Persian turquoise enameled dots. It is a soft cream color with a gold leaf handle. The front of the ure has an exceptional hand painted enameled scene of two birds in foliage while the back portrays two butterflies. It is fully signed on the base in the blue mark, Germany, and the Royal Rudelstadt trade mark. It is in excellent original condition with only very slight minor wear to the gold leaf handle. It measures 14 1/4 inches to the top of the spout and 8 1/2 inches to the widest part of the handle. This is a great example of fine artistry from a bygone era.
