This is a very beautiful and perfect example of the quality work of Loetz Art Glass. An amazing example of the Art Nouveau Era, Circa 1890 / 1900. This vase stands 5 ¼ inches tall and 2 7/8 inches at the widest point and 2 ¼ inches across the base. Loetz was competing with Tiffany, Quezal and Steuben during the Art Nouveau Period. This vase has a breath taking iridescence radiating from shimmering hues of gold, lavender, and green. The silver overlay adds to the entire piece. The silver overlay is a stylized floral and leaf design and is very tight and perfect. It has a polished pontil on the base. This is one of the finest examples of Loetz that we have offered. Thank you for your time and consideration on this exceptional piece.
