This vase is another beautiful example produced through the craftsmanship of the Moser Glass Works. Deeply engraved Art Nouveau glass, popular during the 1895-1905 period, was produced by Moser with techniques adopted from Bohemian seal and gem cutters. This type of art glass rapidly achieved international recognition and is highly sought after by collectors world wide today. This vase is an unusual shape, curving in at the center and flaring out at the top. It has a very deep intaglio cut design in a fusia and leaf motif. The vase if four sided and the intricate design covers the entire piece. It measures 10 ¼ inches tall and 3 inches across the base and 3 ¾ inches across the opening. It is in excellent original condition. A true work of art from an elegant bygone era.
