We are offering a wonderful antique match holder. The match holder is made of porcelain and features a young lady curtsying. She wears a yellow hat with pink ribbon, a pink skirt with white gathered hem, a long sleeve blue waistcoat with pink tie and a white apron with flower design. She has blonde hair, blue eyes and blush cheeks and her face and pose are attractive. She is standing on a base, next to a brick form which holds the matches.
The match holder also has a striking surface, on the back of the brick formation. There is a little bit of gold trim on the piece as well.
The match holder measures approximately 4-1/2" H x 2-3/4" W x 1-3/4" D. It is in very good condition. There is an impressed mark (possibly Conta & Boehme Porcelain of Germany) and the numerals "4231" on the underside of the base.
A charming piece for your collection!
