Here is a rare piece of sterling silver from Webster. It is a small spoon shaped with a side pouring bowl. We believe its intended use was for administering medicine. It could have been used for an infant or adult invalid. Or, it could have been a feeding spoon for a baby, just shaped differently than we usually see. The spoon is marked: "WEBSTER STERLING" and also has the Webster logo on the back side of the curled handle. The spoon is also monogrammed: "C.A.F." in capital script lettering.
The spoon measures approximately 3-1/4"L and weighs 18.0 grams or 0.63 ounces. Circa 1910 or earlier. Very good condition.
