Here is a wonderful vintage hardbound book which holds a collection of easy musical games for children. The book can be used in the home or in the classroom. Included are detailed directions for finger games and rhythmic activities along with the accompanying music for piano. The color illustrations are quite charming and help to illustrate each activity.
The book was published in 1948 and is a First Edition with original dust jacket. It was written by Lottie Ellsworth Coit, Director of Children's Music Classes at the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester in Rochester, New York and Ruth Bampton, Director of Music at Polytecnic Elementary and Junior High School, in Pasadena, California. The illustrator was Martha Powell Setchell.
The book is in very good condition with wear to the edges of the dust jacket noted and minor wear to the hardcover.
