We are offering a lovely vintage guilloche enamel and sterling silver brooch. This pretty pin is elliptical in shape and made of sterling silver. It is marked: "925SK" where "K"is backwards. The enamel is white and handpainted with a pretty rosebud with stem and leaves. There are little touches of silver work at the ends of the piece, done in a style consistent with the Art Nouveau era.
The brooch has a secure old tube and barrel and "C" clasp with slightly extended pin. It measures approximately 1-1/4 inches X 1/2 inch. It weighs 4.5 grams or 0.16 ounces. The maker is possibly Johan Kjaerling, Bergen, Norway, circa 1900. He was known for being a plique a jour enamel specialist.
