We are offering an unusual vintage demi parure which includes a wonderful, elaborate necklace and matching earrings. We are describing it as Egyptian or Grecian style, but please take a look at all of the photographs and judge for yourself.
All of the components appear to be made of plastic set with goldtone. The colors are varied shades of green. The long dangles look like variegated lucite or celluloid. They are a minty green color with subtle swirls of a lighter shade. The small round beads hanging from the goldtone chains are sea green in color and are semi-translucent. Set in the decorative arch-shaped setting are three cabochons. These are yet another slightly different color green. The mixture of green colors used in the components integrate well together, creating a very striking and unusual piece.
Please note: we are describing the actual colors here to the best of our ability even though they may look somewhat different in the photos. We had a very difficult time trying to consistently capture the true colors.
The necklace hangs approximately 15" in length and has an additional 3" extension for adjustment. The closure is a lobster claw clasp.
The earrings are pierced style and the length is approximately 2-1/2".
There is an oval metal tag which is stamped: "B.T". We have not been able to identify the maker or time period for the set. It was purchased at a local, upscale estate. It is in very good condition and a very fun set!
