We are offering a beautiful vintage bangle bracelet. Although unsigned, we are confident it is of Czech origin, circa the 1920's.
The bracelet features hinged construction. It appears to be gold gilt over brass and set with two rows of gorgeous red, blue and green rhinestone navettes and rounds. There is a single large red center oval rhinestone and filigree embellishment overlay on the stones on each side of the center stone. All of the stones are hand set in sawtooth bezels with open backs.
The bracelet measures just shy of 1/2" in width. The shape of the bangle is elliptical, not round. The opening measures approximately 2-3/8" x 2". The inner circumference is approximately 7-1/4".
All of the stones in the bracelet are gorgeous with so much sparkle. There is wear to the gold gilt finish, most noticeable on the sides of the bezels but not noticed when the bracelet is worn. There is a secure push in tongue clasp as well as a safety chain. Every element of the bracelet appears original.
