For your French kitchen, we are offering a wonderful vintage tin. The tin was made in the style of "QUIMPER" pottery. The background of the tin is white with a blue sponged edge, red and blue flower garlands and a center design of a French colonial man and woman. There are birds and plants in the background and red and blue circular outlines.
The tin measures approximately 7-3/4"L x 5-1/8"W x 1-1/4"H. It has an impressed mark on the underside which reads: "Massilly, France". On the bottom of the back hinged side it reads: "Illustration par courtoisie des faienceries de quimper - HB Henriot". This translates to: "Illustration courtesy of Quimper faience - HB Henriot".
The tin is in good condition overall with some minor scuffs on the underside and on the top of the lid. There are no dents and the lid closes securely.
