We are offering a spectacular ladies ring. It is solid sterling silver, made in a fan shape and sits high on the finger. It is set with a double row of genuine garnets on the raised setting. The gemstones appear to be Hessonite garnets, a brown-red variety. There is a single row of marcasites on each side of the ring.
The ring is from the Art Deco period or you might describe this piece as Egyptian Revival. Egyptian Revival had a surge in popularity during the Art Deco era, circa 1920's, after the discovery of King Tut's tomb.
The ring measures as a size 7 and is in beautiful condition. It weighs 8.9 grams or 0.315 ounces. It is marked on the inside of the band: "925".
