We are pleased to offer this hard to find piece of sterling silver. It is the cream ladle in the Mount Vernon pattern by the Watson Manufacturing Co., Attleboro, Massachusetts. They were in business from 1880-1955.
This pattern discontinued production in 1907. It is hallmarked "crown in circle, "W" in shield, Lion Passant in oval". The cream ladle measures approximately 5-3/8" in length and weighs 16.4 grams. It is in very good condition. A classic design and a very elegant piece!
