We are presenting a wonderful demi parure from the Mid-Century (or Modernist) era, circa 1940's - 1960's. This set features a pendant necklace and matching earrings.
The pieces feature substantial, textured, goldtone metal in irregular shapes. The pendant is set with two oval amber stones, a green rectangular stone, a blue round stone, and two elongated coffin shape stones (one is amethyst and the other is red). All stones are faceted, bezel set with open backs. In addition, there are six spike shapes which are raised from the surface, adding to the overall design. The pendant measures approximately 2-3/8"H x 1-7/8"W and hangs on an unmarked gold fill box chain which measures approximately 24-1/2"L.
The earrings are clip on style, each set with a single oval amber stone, and a coffin shape green stone. There are three raised spikes on each earring. The earrings each measures approximately 1-1/4"H x 1"W.
The set is in very good condition and quite striking and unusual!
