Here is a wonderful sterling silver souvenir teaspoon. The bowl of the spoon features a highly detailed image of a Catalina Island bay with boats, a pier, the surrounding beach, buildings, etc. It reads: "CATALINA ISLAND, CAL.". The handle features finely detailed fish, a wave and shell.
The spoon is not monogrammed or dated. On the back of the handle it is marked "P&B" with each mark in a heart. It is also marked "STERLING". The maker's mark is for the Paye & Baker Manufacturing Co. of North Attleboro, MA. They were in business from 1902 to the 1960's, and manufactured souvenir spoons, flatware, etc.
The spoon measures approximately 5-1/4" in length and weighs 17.6 grams or .62 ounces. It is in very good condition and a wonderful collector's piece!
