This is a pretty vintage brooch or pin. It is signed "KRAMER" in an oval cartouche on the back.

Kramer Jewelry Creations was founded in New York in 1943 by designer Louis Kramer. The company's jewelry was of high quality and design. The company designed and manufactured some of the most luxurious and artistic costume jewelry In the 1950s. Their designs were always innovative and well crafted. The company's higher priced jewelry was usually marked "KRAMER" or "KRAMER of NEW YORK". Kramer created many hand-set quality pieces that had beautiful and outstanding jewelry designs. It produced jewelry pieces with an abundance of the highest quality Austrian rhinestones and crystals, simulated stones and pearls with clear or a variety of colors. The company ceased operations in the 1970s.

The brooch features alternating vertical bands of emerald green and clear rhinestones all prong set on a curved parallelogram. The setting is silvertone and may be rhodium plated as it is quite a substantial piece with good weight.

The brooch has a rollover safety clasp and measures approximately 2-1/4"L x 9/16"H. It is in excellent condition and would add a nice compliment to your wardrobe. Please also see our other listings for a pair of signed vintage Kramer earrings that would coordinate well with this piece.
