Here is lovely antique pierced bowl olive spoon. It is marked "STERLING" and has the maker's mark for the Whiting Manufacturing Company. The Whiting Manufacturing Co. was founded in North Attleboro, Massachusetts in 1866. The company was purchased in 1926 by the Gorham Co. and relocated to Providence, Rhode Island.
This is the Adam pattern, circa 1907. This piece is monogrammed with a single initial on the handle. It is difficult to say with certainty what the initial is.
The olive spoon is approximately 6-1/4" in length and weighs 25.3 grams. It is in very good condition.
