Here is a nice vintage tea caddy or sugar box. It is made of oak wood and has a glass liner. We estimate this piece was made in the 1920's - 1930's and most likely originated in Great Britain.
The box is rectangular in shape and nicely constructed. The box is footed and has a fitted lid and a carrying handle. The glass liners can be removed for cleaning. The bottom piece of glass is cracked and could be replaced if desired.
This piece measures approximately 5-1/4"H x 4-3/4"W x 4-3/4"D. It is in very good condition with the exception noted above. Also, we want to mention that one corner edge has started to crack or split.
