We are pleased to offer this wonderful vintage bracelet. It is signed "STERLING", "(Patent Date which is partially worn off)", "DIAMONDBAR". The bracelet features two rows of rhinestones in the alternating colors of topaz or amber and clear. Most of the stones are square shaped. There are a few rounds interspersed in the piece which may have been replaced at one time. The bracelet is as we found it and we do not feel this is a detraction. We have recently reduced the selling price with this in mind.
The Wachenheimer Brothers Company of Providence, RI was started in 1907 specializing in bracelets and bangles. They used the maker's marks: "Diamondbar" and "STERLING PAT.# DIAMONDBAR". The company ceased operations in 1931.
The bracelet measures approximately 7-1/8" in length and closes with a secure hand made push clasp with a buckle receiver. This lovely bracelet was most likely made during the Art Deco Era, circa 1920.
This bracelet is in very good condition and has not been polished or cleaned.
