Here is a set of two different pins, both of which relate to 4-H. Both pins have wonderful detail on the front and writing on the back.
The larger pin features the image of a girl or young woman in a long, full dress or gown and hat. The view is from the side-back. The 4-H clover logo is at the bottom of the pin, just below her skirt and there are "H"'s in stair steps on the top and bottom edges. On the back of this pin it reads: " CO HONOR STYLE SHOW BY CHICAGO MAIL ORDER CO. IN-CO-OP EXT. SER. 1/20 1OK GF". It measures approximately 3/4"H x 1/2"W and has a small, secure rollover clasp pin.
The smaller pin features the same image of a girl or young woman as described above. Across the top of this pin are the words: "COUNTY STYLE REVIEW" and "4" to the left and "H" to the right of the girl. On the back of this pin it reads: "CLASS WINNER BY CHICAGO MAIL ORDER CO. IN CO.-OP. EXT. SER 10K 1/20 G.F.". It measures approximately 1/2"W x 9/16"L and has a very small, secure rollover clasp pin.
We do not know the age of these pins. They are in very, very good condition. The listed price is for both pins.
Quoting from the Internet: "The goal of 4-H is to develop citizenship, leadership, responsibility and life skills of youth through experiential learning programs and a positive youth development approach."
