We are pleased to offer a lovely pair of vintage earrings. The earrings are dangle style, and feature three round blue cabochons which appear to be opaline glass. When examined closely, the blue stones have swirls and subtle variations in them. In between the blue stones are clear crystal rhinestones. The opalines sit in fancy prongs and the rhinestones are set in what we would call "pinched" prong settings.
The earrings are clip back style and one earring is marked: "CHRISTIAN DIOR BY KRAMER" in an oval cartouche at the bottom of the largest blue stone. Both earring clips are marked: "KRAMER". They are in very good condition.
The Kramer Jewelry Creations company began in 1943 in New York City. Their jewelry was so exquisite that it came to the attention of the House of Dior. Kramer began manufacturing jewelry for Dior in the 1950's.
