We are pleased to offer a beautiful gold fill or gold plate pendant necklace. The pendant originated in Czechoslovakia, circa 1920-1930. It features a large oval faceted blue glass stone, which is set horizontally. This stone measures approximately 1-1/4" x 1/2". It is set in a sawtooth bezel with open back. Suspended from each side of the elongated oval are square pyramid shape faceted stones. Each one hangs from a loop at the point. These stones have closed backs. Suspended from the center is a beautiful tassel. The total drop measurement for the pendant is approximately 3". The width is approximately 1-3/4".
We have added a period chain which we think goes perfectly with the pendant. It is also gold fill or gold plate. It is marked "SOB" for Sidney O. Bigney, of Attleboro, MA. Bigney was in business from 1896-1946. The chain measures approximately 19" in length and weighs 2.9 grams or 0.10 ounces.
This lovely pendant necklace is in very, very good condition.
