We are pleased to offer a stunning antique necklace. It is a beautiful, large lavalier or négligée (when the dangling pendants are of unequal length) from the Edwardian era. The necklace features a large grouping with openwork filigree components and long, decorative linked dangles. There are clear sparkling rhinestones set throughout. The chain is made of the same decorative links seen in the lavalier. We have not tested the metal though we believe it to be gold fill or gold plate.
The lavalier measures approximately 6-1/2" long, measuring from where the chain connects to the bottom of the longest dangle. It measures approximately 2" at the widest point. The chain measures approximately 18" in total length. There is a large spring ring clasp closure.
This is a spectacular necklace in very good condition!
