Here is a beautiful signed brooch which is considered to be a scarce find. The maker's mark is "NE" inside a chalice (goblet) on the back of the piece. This stands for the New England Glass Works Company.
This brooch features a base or pot metal setting with an aged patina and is set with beautiful emerald green faceted rhinestones, two green cabochons, and raised "flowers" with small clear rhinestones in their centers. The stones have nice sparkle and clarity.
This lovely old pin measures approximately 3-1/8" x 1-3/4" and is in very good condition. This piece is quite old, made between 1911 and the 1920's when the factory closed.
