This stunning pin is a mystery! It looks exactly like a piece created by Vogue in the 1940s...but it has a signature I am unfamiliar with. It is signed "F.M." in a diamond on the back. I searched and searched but could not find this mark in any of the research sites that I explored. If anyone knows who this mark belongs to please let me know.
In the meantime, this is a gorgeous brooch. It is large and substantial in weight and is marked "sterling". It features open backed glistening rhinestones in various shapes and sizes to create a large flower. The pin boasts a large, emerald cut glass stone in its center that creates the focal point for this magnificent beauty.
The brooch measures 4 inches in height and 3 inches in width. It is in excellent vintage condition with all stones present and sparkling and with no metal loss.
