This rare brooch was created by DuJay in the 1940's and is exceptionally lovely. It features two large, green glass cabochons that represent flower buds with graceful enamel leaves. while the rest of the brooch is created with hundreds of tiny rhinestones.
The brooch measures 3-3/4 inches in height and 2 inches in width. The enamel shows some wear, mostly on the edges and the large green stones are in perfect condition. The metal is in decent condition, with some wear apparent on the back. However, virtually all of the clear rhinestones exhibit some type of aging in the form of darkening, yellowing or graying. The pricing reflects the condition of the rhinestones, but these could be replaced by an experienced jeweler if so desired.
