This is a beautiful, long, sterling silver necklace with a fabulous pendant and bale that features a delicate openwork floral design. I was told this piece is from the Art Deco period. It is beautifully constructed and utilizes a multi-layered design with millegrain edges. Covered in round rhinestones or paste stones in a variety of sizes. The necklace measures 21 inches in length and is marked on the jump ring with several very small stamped letters. The clasp also has markings that have faded over time, but which may be "925" as it was assayed as such. The pendant measures 2-1/2 inches in length and 1-1/4 inches in width at the widest portion. It is marked "925" on the back. It is obvious that the necklace chain is older than the pendant and are a marriage. The pendant is lovely but most of the stones have greyed or yellowed, which is reflected in the price. None the less, this is a gorgeous piece that will not disappoint.
