This is the one and only time I have ever seen this beautiful Coro brooch and it's a very wonderful and unusual piece. I don't know what type of flower this depicts, but it's a lovely representation. The piece utilizes hand enameling on both the leaves and petals, with contrasting coloration that really makes the pin "pop". Red rhinestones are prong set at the culmination of each flower, adding a rich and pleasing appearance. This is a weighty and truly gorgeous brooch.
The piece measures 2-1/2 inches in height and 2-1/4 inches in width. It is in excellent vintage condition, with all stones present but some showing greying. The enamel is in good shape with some chips here and there, especially to the bottom most leaf (see picture). I believe the pin back is not original as I can see a mark from the original placement. Of course, this is not detectable when the brooch is being worn. It is signed "Coro" in script on the back.
