This delightful Czech bottle has been accented with open work patterned gold plated metal, white enamel and green glass jewels. The glass gems are comprised of three collar mounted cabochon beads and a floral motif plaque that all have a light opalescent shimmer. The jeweling and its metalwork are the main focal point to the perfume as it is been placed on a clear bottle. Both the bottle and the stopper have been faceted with graceful angled panels of modified triangular shapes.
The jeweling is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, broken or missing pieces to the jewels or metalwork. The enamel accent on the leaves is all intact with no missing portions and appears to be all original with no repair.
The glass is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, deep scratches, nasty abrasions or repairs. With close intense inspection you can find an occasional flea bite from a previous owners ring. PLEASE NOTE: The stopper was dropped and the dauber is now broken despite the photo showing a full dauber. We will get a new photo into the listing asap. The stopper rocks lightly in the neck of the bottle. Rich believes this perfume to have been part of a pair with the stopper from one and the base from the other. We see this quite often due to people putting the two perfect parts together and disposing of the damaged ones or just un-knowledgeable when reinserting the stopper. We love the design element of the main jewel and the stopper echoing each other. A thoughtful dramatic design in a med. size bottle.
The base of the bottle carries no acid mark, but the metal band around the bottle's neck has the tiny oval plaque that reads Czechoslovakia. The bottle stands 4 1/2 inches tall by 3 inches long and is 1 3/8 inches deep.
