This 50's eternity band is lovely with a lot of fine detail. There are alternating patterns of what I am going to call fans interspersed with a slanted rectangle. The four fans are also alternating as two are right side up and two are upside down. Each fan contains four diamonds and each rectangle contains two with the fans also having four areas of open work.
The gold is in excellent condition with no cracks, rips, dents, holes, nasty scratches, ugly abrasions or repairs. It has an extremely high polished surface which causes some reflection which is the reason for my last two photos. Photo # 5 has red marks showing the open work areas in the fans. Photo # 6 has green marks to show the placement of the diamonds. The fans and rectangles have recessed spots in their patterns for the diamonds. On some of the borders of these spots you will find what looks like hand engraved work which gives their rims a mil-grained pattern effect. The open work areas in the fans also appear to be hand cut out.
The ring contains a total of 24 small diamonds which total a 1/2ct. All of the diamonds are there and appear to be the originals. Another reason for photo # 6 is they blend in extremely well with the high shine of the ring's surface as they are a wonderful color being white, bright and having very nice sparkle.
The ring has no marks, either purity or maker so Rich has acid tested and will guarantee a minimum of 14kt. On the size pole it is a 7 1/2 and it is a 1/4" wide, very comfortable on my hand. This ring is NOT sizeable.
