This is one of my favorite amethyst bracelets currently in stock. It has hand engraving around the entire bracelet with swirly leaves and four evenly placed flowers. The front two flowers contain collar mounted approx. 10 point diamonds. Alternating and evenly spaced are three faceted, square cut, amethysts also in collars. The side rim of the bracelet is not curved or rounded but is a crisp 90 degree angle with the surface of the gold having a lovely, subtle, mat finish. Just a beautiful design with a touch of pizzazz suitable for day or nite.
The gold is in excellent plus condition with no cracks, rips, dents, holes, nasty scratches, abrasions or repairs. The bracelet opens with a gold wire slide often found in antique and vintage pieces. It's surface and movement is a touch uneven but it works very firmly in it's job to support the connection of the bracelet's two halves at the hinge and assisting in a good tight closure. The hand engraving has very nice depth and is evenly intact over the surface. The mat finish is also beautifully intact and even thru out.
The two diamonds have nice sparkle and are firm in their collars. Two of the amethysts have no cracks, abrasions or nasty scratches and all measure approx. 3/16" square. The center stone has an approx. 3/32" chip on it's downward angled corner facet with an approx. 1/64" bite next to it. This is not visible unless you use a loupe or do an intense inspection holding the bracelet at just the right angle. All three stones are firm in their collars.
The bracelet has an interior circumference of approx. 7" and it's top surface is 1/4" wide. It's interior oval measures 2 5/16" wide x 2" tall. I have a 6 3/4" wrist and the bracelet sits firmly in place but I can wear it comfortably. With the wire slide fully extended (last photo) the interior measures 3 1/16" wide x approx. 2 1/2" tall. The 14kt. mark is on the interior backside and the bracelet weighs 14 grams.
