This photo frame is absolutely stunning. The MOP has amazing coloration and shimmer in every piece with the primary accent colors being pinks and greens. On my computer monitor I was extremely pleased with the accuracy of the photos. Each piece was cut to fit perfectly against it's neighbor and all were adhered to a solid piece of wood cut in the shape of the frame. The top left corner was then accented with that fabulous garnet gemstone floral motif. The larger garnets are mounted in collars with notched top rims The smaller garnets are ball prong mounted in leaves with smooth top rims. The entire mounting is a yellow toned metal, probably brass. The backside of the frame has either a very, very thin wood or a very firm paper board that has been covered in a leatherette like thick paper.

The MOP is in excellent minus condition. The top left corner piece has some light surface scratches. The top right corner piece has a crack that goes all the way thru the MOP as well as a hairline and a couple of tiny surface scratches. The cracked corner is fitted perfectly back into it's piece and is well adhered to the wood base (see photo # 5). The edge rim of the bottom left corner has a 1/16" long x 1/32" wide surface chip.

The floral motif is all there with no missing flowers, buds or leaves and is well adhered to the frame with no movement. The garnets all appear to be there and none stand out as replacements. They have no cracks, chips, deep scratches, nasty surface abrasions or missing pieces. The horizontal portion of the motif (left side of flower to tip of last leaf) measures approx. 3 1/2" long x a hair over 1" at widest point. The vertical portion (top of the flower to the tip of the last leaf) measures 2 7/8" tall x approx. 3/4" at widest point.

The backside is also excellent with no rips to the leatherette paper and it is firmly adhered to it's base. You can find a few very minor minute spots of fray at some corners. The easel stand is intact and firm in it's attachment. The frame's glass appears to be the original with a lovely beveled rim. I did not take it apart to check it's edges but there are no cracks, chips, nicks, scratches or nasty abrasions to the surface. At the top portion of the glass I can see a very tiny, minor, 1/32" long surface abrasion.

There are no makers marks. The photo area measures 3 1/4" tall x approx. 1 7/8" wide. The frame measures 6 3/16" tall thru the center x 5 1/4" at the foot, it's widest point.
