These earrings have a great classic Jensen organic design. I feel the sterling portion represents leaves with a gemstone flower bud at each end. I think they are extremely attractive, somewhat tailored, but with a touch of pizazz.
The sterling is in excellent condition with no rips, dents, holes, cracks, nasty scratches / abrasions or repairs. The screw threads are intact and have wonderful movement. The chrysoprase cabochons have no cracks, chips, nasty scratches or abrasions. The stones are 1/8" in diameter and stand an approx. 1/32" above their collars. They are a lovely kelly green, well matched in color, and are all original as we find no disruption to their collars.
The hallmarks are identical on both earrings and are found on their backsides as seen in the photo. They are the earlier used impressed Jensen oval and the GI marks from 1915-1930. There is also a 925, Sterling, Denmark and the number 55 which is the earrings design/model number. They measures 7/8" tall x 1/2" at widest point. Jensen earrings from this time period are very hard to find.
