Los Castillo Sterling Money Clip - Circa 1965
This Los Castillo money clip is wonderful. It is in great condition as well as being a super design. It is quite solid and substantial; not a flimsy, bendable piece. The accent lines thru the swirls are of a nice width and have good depth. The decorative balls at the end of the clip are still well rounded. You will find some tiny scratches or bites to the silver from use as seen in the photos but less then expected. Evidently the owner did not put this in the same pocket as his change. There are no repairs and the solder joint of the clip to the front design piece is all original. The marks are on the backside as seen in the photo. It is the Los Castillo/Taxco circle, the Sterling/Made in Mexico circle, the stylized Eagle 15 used Circa 1955-1970's and a 328 A. The clip measures approx. 2 1/2" long x 1 5/16" at widest point. There is a smaller and lighter version of this money clip that we have seen a couple of times.
