This classic Victorian bracelet is in superb condition. It has a high polished surface front and back. There are 6 hand engraved eight pointed stars on the front of the bracelet that contain 6 graduated in size European cut diamonds.
The gold is in excellent condition with no cracks, rips, dents, holes, deep scratches, nasty abrasions or repairs. The high polish is in outstanding condition with just the occasional hint of a surface scratch or un-even surface. On a top side rim is a very tiny, smaller then 1/32", bite that appears to be a possible test mark done by an inexperience person. The slide closure has good movement and the bracelet closes with a good, firm, click and stays closed. The European cut diamonds total 3/4 of a ct. and are comprised of two 10pt's, two 12pt's and two 15pt's.
The bracelet weighs 20.5 grams and has a blurry and impossible to read probable makers mark on the sliding tongue (see last photo red^). Rich has acid tested the bracelet and will guarantee a minimum of 14kt. The top width of the bracelet is 7/16" wide and it has an internal circumference of 7". The interior oval measures 2 1/2" wide x 2 3/16" tall. With the sliding tongue open all the way the bracelet is approx. 2 15/16" wide x 2 1/2" tall. I have a 6 3/4" wrist and can wear this very comfortably.
