This delightful Art Nouveau lady is in outstanding all original condition and has always been a stick pin. She is copied from a famous C .D. Gibson print. Her face condition is superb with well defined features. Her hair is curly with wonderful depth to it's waves. There is a bit of blurring/loss of definition to the few high points of her hair (photo # 3). The gold is in excellent condition with no cracks, holes, rips, dents, abrasions, nasty scratches or repairs. The pin has a slight even curve and a good point. There is a rub mark in the pin (photo # 4 middle) where someone inexperienced tested the gold content. Photo # 4 top insert shows where the 14 Kt. and makers mark are located. As it is on a curve it did not impress well. So Rich has confirmed purity with an acid test and our maker is unknown. The lady is 11/16" tall x 7/8" at widest point. The entire stick pin is 2 5/8" tall.
