This Meriden B. ring # 161 has such a cute boy pushing his ring and is in great condition. The piece has no cracked or missing metal. The plate appears to be in outstanding condition. The ring was replated at least 20 years ago. The boy has great definition work thru out and even the fine definition lines in his hat are noticeable. There is presentation of "AD" on the top of the actual ring and an appropriate Meriden B. impressed mark on the base. It has the addition of the "Quadruple Plate" mark that Meriden discontinued in 1886 per Rainwater. The only thing I could find was some missing pattern indentation on one side of the ring, see top right side of photo # 7. The ring measures approx. 2 1/2" tall x 3 3/4" long.
