It's so nice to find a pair of matching bracelets in such super condition. What's even nicer is finding all the hand assembly in late 20th. century jewelry. The bracelets are designed with a 15/16" hollow oval link with a very well defined raised greek key motif on a slant line raised background with the backside of the link having a ridge line pattern. In the center of this link is a hand attached white gold ring. Connecting the links are oval connector rings. Both the white gold rings and the oval connectors have a high polished surface as well as also being hollow. A very stylish pair of bracelets to wear on one arm or one bracelet on each wrist.
The gold is in excellent condition with no rips cracks, holes, large dents, nasty scratches, abrasions or repairs. On the top of the bracelets you can find the occasional bit of un-even surface or pin point sized indentations visible on the high polish portions. There is one surface indent that is an approx. 3/32" in dia. - sorry as it is on a high polished surface it would not photograph correctly. But these very few imperfections are commonly found even in extremly well taken care of pre-owned jewelry. The backside of the greek key links show a bit of un-even surface as well as some un-even spacing or blurring on some of the ridges that all appear to be original to manufacture almost entirely due to the insertion of the white gold rings. The clasps are stylized spring rings that look very nice, fit in well with the design of the bracelets and are in working order.
I know someone will ask "how long is the bracelet" if I do not put the measurement in the listing. From end to end they are 8" long, BUT they will NOT fit a large wrist. Some of the space to the fit around your wrist is taken up by the curves on the connectors and base of the white rings. I have a 6 3/4" wrist and can get only ONE bracelet on each wrist. It is also a bit too firm for my comfort. Marks are on both bracelets, are cast in the pieces and in identical spots (see last photo). There is a makers mark, 18kt and Italy on the last oval next to the spring ring which has a 750 rectangle mark (European for 18Kt). The bracelets together weigh a total of 85 grams of 18kt gold.
