These french cuff style links have wonderful pattern work. The center of the squares have what appears to be engine turned (a form of machine engraving) stripes and the exterior rims are all hand engraved.
The gold is in excellent condition with no cracks, rips, dents, deep scratches/abrasions or repairs. The cuff links do contain some surface scratching consistent with wear as well as a smaller then 1/32" slightly deeper scratch. The pattern definition is excellent plus. The center strips have a nice depth to their pattern and are easily seen. The outer border has super depth to the engraving giving it a lovely dimension. The linkage on the backside of the cufflinks is all original and free moving. These cufflinks are quite substantial with those squares being 3/64" deep, they are not at all flimsy.
The marks are on the backside of all four squares as can be seen in the photos. The tops measure 9/16" square and the cufflinks weigh 14.6 grams. A wonderfully designed, quality pair of cufflinks for either a collection or to use on those french shirt cuffs.
